A full showcase Saturday with the Stars, first pitch to final out

A behind-the-scenes look at what a full showcase day looks like for our players, families, and coaching staff.

A full showcase Saturday with the Stars, first pitch to final out

Showcase Saturdays start early — bags packed the night before, players in the parking lot running through their pregame routine before the sun is fully up. By the time warmups begin, coaches have already walked the field to check hop patterns on the infield dirt.

Between games, the dugout becomes a classroom: quick adjustments on approach, a reminder on backside footwork, a word of encouragement after a tough at-bat. It's as much about how the team recovers between games as how it performs in them.

By the final out of the day, exhausted players and families are already talking about the next one. That rhythm — compete, adjust, recover, repeat — is what a full Stars tournament weekend is built on.
